I would like to say, for the record, that ripping back an inch of the foot of the Pomotamus was the most hair-raising, terrifying experience of my brief knitting career. I hope never to have to rip something like that again. All I can say is THANK GOD for that US 000 needles. They were a life saver.
Now off to the knit-night I've organized with some friends in Kentucky (where I will be working on a much more soothing project!)

Good for you!!! That's a pretty intricate thing to rip - I would've been a wreck. Have fun tonight!
Jennie, I made a blog! Can you tell me how to make it say what I read or what I'm working on? I feel like a 100 year old woman trying to learn to pilot a space ship.
Definitely go with the soothing knititng now!
you are a brave, brave knitter!
Congrats on getting through it! :)
Oh & I love the saucers! I have a set of coasters from the grand ole opry that are shaped like records!
I'm glad everything worked out with your Pomotomus. I've got one on the needles right now myself, and I surely wouldn't want to rip back!
Holy balls - I had to start my Pomotamus over from the ribbing because of an error (at nearly the end of the second repeat!). And I teach sock knitting classes for Pete's sake. Congrats on the save. Wish mine could have been spared. Yet, now I'm on the third repeat, getting ready to turn the heel and counting every stitch, each needle thankyouverymuch.
